Summer Analyst Program Overview
Stellex’s 10-week Summer Analyst internship offers rising, college seniors the opportunity to work as integral members of a skilled and experienced investment team, evaluating new investment opportunities and supporting our existing portfolio companies.
Through a combination of hands-on and classroom-style learning, Stellex Summer Analysts develop a broad range of skills that will help launch their private equity careers. Top performers may be eligible to receive a full-time return offer to join Stellex following graduation.
Program Highlights
The Role
At Stellex, we understand the importance of career development, and this begins when you join us as a Summer Analyst. You will gain exposure to the entire range of private equity processes, such as sourcing new investment opportunities, evaluating opportunities, developing investment theses, executing transactions, and monitoring portfolio companies.
Mentoring and Networking
As a member of a growing firm, you will have the opportunity to cultivate relationships with team members across the organization. Your peer coaches will be junior investment professionals, who can answer your day-to-day questions as you begin your career and your mentors will be mid-level investment professionals, who can provide overarching guidance and feedback. You will also interact with our senior investment professionals through weekly roundtables where you can ask questions and learn from their experiences and perspectives to help inform your long-term career goals.
Training
The Stellex Summer Analyst program is designed to position you for success in the finance industry. Our Summer Analyst program begins with a one-week training program that will cover foundational finance and modeling concepts, taught by a leading financial training organization. This classroom-based training is supplemented by weekly in-house training, designed and delivered by your Stellex peers, to further enhance your learning and understanding of private equity and Stellex.

Girls Who Invest
Girls Who Invest (GWI) is a non-profit organization that helps prepare college students for careers in asset management and connects them with firms across the industry. Stellex has partnered with GWI to host a scholar for a seven-week summer internship designed to develop core finance and investing skills through classroom-based training, roundtables with senior investment professionals, and deal work.
